Bio and Research:
Isaksen's masters and doctoral research was conducted on Bear Island in the Barent Sea and on samples from oil and gas wells in the North Sea. He has over 22 years experience in the oil and gas industry where he has worked geoscience projects throughout the Arctic, Europe, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Far-East Asia and Australia. Isaksen is currently Knowledge Capitalization manager with ExxonMobil. He is also responsible for ExxonMobil's many fundraising programs to benefit The United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Isaksen has published over 40 geoscience manuscripts. He isa Fellow of The Geological Society of London, The American Association of Petroleum Geologists, The European Association of Organic Geochemistry, and the Complexity in Action Network at Northwestern University.
