My research interests lie in the use of molecular techniques for addressing questions in marine conservation and biodiversity. The Marine Conservation Molecular Facility was established to enable molecular genetic approaches for understanding fish and invertebrate population structures and for determining biodiversity in marine systems using sequence information. I am also interested in utilizing genomic approaches to understand the response of marine organisms to environmental perturbations.
