My research interests are in conservation, ecological and population genetics, as well as evolutionary biology. I use molecular markers at population or individual levels to study genetic questions (gene flow, genetic drift, effective population size and selection) and to couple genetics with behaviors (kin-biased behaviors, reproductive success, mate choice, migrations and life history). Conservation genetics and investigations combining population genetics, behavior and ecology are approaches that I find appealing.
