Daniel J Westreich

Substantively, my work addresses intersections of maternal, reproductive, and child health, infectious diseases, and global health. I am currently funded by NIH / NICHD 4R00-HD-06-3961-02 to examine the impact of pregnancy on response to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) in South Africa. I am also involved in ongoing work involving HPV/HIV coinfection in women; TB/HIV coinfection; and soy exposure during infancy and time to menarche. I also focus on methods for causal inference, and for the analysis of longitudinal observational data, including marginal structural models and the parametric g-formula.
