Current projects: Quality of care in developing countries, Evaluation of Health Insurance

Manoj Mohanan's current research focuses on three areas related to health systems in developing countries: (a) Measurement of quality of care in primary care settings ; (b) Development, implementation and evaluation of Health Insurance; and (c) Impact Evaluation of CCTs and voucher programs for maternal and child health. In previous work, he employed quasi-experimental study designs to estimate causal effects of health shocks. Related research also explored causal effects underlying observed co-morbidity in physical and mental health.
