Associate Professor of the Practice of Dance. Holds an M.A. in Dance from Ohio State University and is Certified by the Kundalini Research Institute to teach Kundalini Yoga. As Co-Artistic Director of 2 Near The Edge, a Durham-based duet dance company, she choreographs and maintains an active touring and residency schedule. Ms. Khalsa teaches Modern and Jazz techniques, Composition, Repertory, Kundalini Yoga & Sikh Dharma, and "The Art of Transformation", a freshman Focus course.
