Research Interests:

Dr. Neuschel concentrates on early modern France and social history of early modern Europe. She has recently published Word of Honor: Interpreting Noble Culture in Sixteenth Century France. Her current research focuses on power relations and gender roles in the nobility in sixteenth-century France. She also is interested in, and teaches courses in, modern European women's history.
