Research Scientist
Anne-Marie Iselin joined the Center in September 2009 as a research scientist. She is working with Ken Dodge on his NIMH-funded project entitled “Multisite Prevention of Adolescent Conduct Problems”.
Her current research focuses on the influence of cognitive control (i.e., attention, memory, response inhibition) on the engagement of antisocial behaviors in adolescence. She is also interested in clinical interventions for and policy about adolescents who engage in sexually inappropriate behaviors. The overarching goal of Iselin's research and clinical work is to improve understanding of the development of antisocial behaviors and develop new treatment methods to improve the life-chances of youth who are in trouble with the law.
Iselin earned her Ph.D. in clinical child psychology, with a secondary emphasis in psychology and law, from the University of Alabama in 2007. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) in 2007. She was a research scholar in the Law and Psychiatry Program at WPIC from 2007 to 2009.
