Chongming Yang

Research Scientist

Chongming Yang joined the Center as a research scientist in 2005. His substantive research interests lie in parenting and child behavioral problems, while his methodological research interests focus on measurement issues. He is very familiar with the statistical modeling program Mplus.

Through extensive training and experience with many research projects, he has accumulated expertise in applying structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, and mixture modeling and has coauthored many publications.

Yang received his Ph.D. in 2001 from the Marriage, Family, and Human Development Program of Brigham Young University, with a focus on research methodology and statistical modeling.
