Erika Hallerman is a project coordinator for the Truancy Prevention Project. She works closely with the Truancy Team, school administrators and teachers to reduce factors which lead to the onset of truancy among first and second grade children. She maintains strong relationships with teachers to encourage them to build an emotional connection with their students, which in turn, attracts children to school.
Prior to joining the center, Hallerman spent her career in education. She has a special skill in developing close relationships with families to motivate children in the classroom. Her passion lies in reaching the heart of every child so every child can achieve his/her dream.
