Jennifer Gill

Project Coordinator

Jennifer Gill, community outreach coordinator for Durham Connects, began her work at the Center in August 2009. She is the direct liaison between the Durham Connects nurses and Durham’s service agencies to which referrals are made for new parents.

Gill came to the Center with experience volunteering with new parent groups and has worked previously as an admissions and public relations coordinator at Carol Woods Retirement Community in Chapel Hill. Prior to that, Gill was a social work discharge planner at Duke University Hospital.

Gill has a master of social work degree from Boston University. She is a native Durham-ite who is glad to be back in the area after living on the West Coast and in the Southwest for the past few years.
