Graduate Student of Psychology and Neuroscience and Center for Child and Family Policy
Adam Mandel is a graduate student in the clinical science training program of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. He works at the Center for Child and Family Policy under the mentorship of Ken Dodge on Durham Connects. Mandel’s research interests revolve around (1) community and population level interventions targeting prosocial growth and (2) translational science, specifically policy framing.
Prior to returning to Duke as a graduate student, Mandel practiced as an attorney and mediator in New York City. Mandel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, a Master of Arts in psychology from The New School, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
