Alissa B. Wigdor

Sulzberger Family/Dan Levitan Social Policy Graduate Research Fellow

Alissa Wigdor is interested in children's peer relationships and friendships as a potential risk or buffer to their mental well-being. She is particularly interested in such processes as co-rumination that occur within friendships and provide both benefits and risks to children. Currently, she is working on a coding system that would assess spontaneous co-rumination between fourth grade friends.
