Sandra Y. Nay McCourt
Graduate Student
Sandra Nay McCourt is a graduate student completing her Ph.D. in clinical psychology under the mentorship of Ken Dodge. Her research interests include the development of aggression and psychopathy as well as prevention and
intervention programs and policies for family violence and child maltreatment.
McCourt's clinical work focuses on the assessment of cognitive abilities and learning difficulties in children and adolescents and evidence-based treatments for childhood psychiatric disorders. Prior to coming to Duke, she earned her law degree from the University of Michigan and practiced law in New York City. McCourt is a native of Bloomington, Indiana, and currently lives in Durham with her husband and daughter.
