Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security
Director, July 2005-present
On counterterrorism and domestic security issues jointly sponsored by Duke University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and the Research Triangle Institute. Center will promote cross- disciplinary scholarship and develop public- private partnerships to address counter- terrorism and homeland security technology issues. Founded the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security, a multi-disciplinary research initiative on counterterrorism and domestic security issues jointly sponsored by Duke University, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and Research Triangle Institute, International. Obtained $8 million in grants and contracts from Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and private foundations. Appointed as Director for Strategy and Outreach for new Institute of Homeland Security Solutions, a DHS funded research consortium focusing on applied social science research for homeland security.
