Research Description: My research interests lie in the areas of health, education and general well-being in developing countries. One theme in my research explores the linkage between environmental influences during early life and later human capital; another examines the relationship between education and fertility. My earlier work has also examined the impact of family structure, particularly parental absence, on the well-being of children.
