Research Interests:
Anya Belkina studied the disciplines of drawing, painting and design at the Moscow Art Institute. She received her B.F.A. in Painting from the Rhodes Island School of Design and her M.F.A. in Visual Arts from the University of California at San Diego. She has many years of experience as a professional designer, including among her clientele such corporations as NTN Communications and the Chicago Tribune. As a fine artist, she has exhibited numerous times, displaying her work in several solo exhibitions as well as national and international group shows. Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Belkina's newer work in the area of New Media has been featured at international film festivals, digital media exhibitions and conferences.
