Dante James is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Most recently, James won an Emmy for his work as series producer and producer/director/writer of the first program in the critically acclaimed PBS series, "Slavery and the Making of America." In 2003, he executive produced the PBS series, "This Far By Faith."
