    Abstract:
Luminescence methods have been developed for air pollution measurement applications. Synchronous excitation and room temperature phosphorescence techniques are appropriate for analyzing atmospheric pollutants extracted from high volume samplers as well as those collected on filter paper. The methods are especially suitable for PNA compounds - suspected carcinogens produced by incomplete combustion of organic materials.
