    Abstract:
For pt.1 see abstr. A42563 of 1973. Recent modifications and computer processing of its digital output are described. The detection and digital recording system apply the photon counting technique. The statistical error of each data point is computed. Wavelength calibration, dark count correction, data smoothing and presentation are described. Correction emission and excitation spectra are obtained and luminescence quantum efficiencies are determined. Uncorrected and corrected spectra are given for pyrene in iso-octane
