Research Interests
Our group is interested in the development and mechanistic investigation of new organotransition metal-catalyzed transformations for application to organic synthesis. We are currently involved in two areas of research. One area is the cycloisomerization and cyclization/hydrosilylation of 1,6-dienes and related substrates catalyzed by cationic late transition metal complexes. A second area is the palladium-catalyzed addition of stabilized carbon nucleophiles to unactivated olefins.
