Research Interests
The research in the Ashby group focuses on the design and synthesis of advanced polymeric materials with complex and often orthogonal combinations of properties. Specifically, the group incorporates key functionality into monomers and polymers, defines the structure-property rules for the new materials and applications, and as a result, optimizes and targets unique sets of properties.
