Biographical Info of Neil de Marchi

Neil De Marchi is a professor of economics at Duke University where he joined the faculty in 1986. He has held numerous teaching positions prior to beginning his professorship at Duke, including Extraordinary Professor of the history and philosophy of economics at the University of Amsterdam, lecturer in economics at Monash University in Australia, and associate professor of economics at Duke University between 1975-80 and 1983-86. Neil received his Ph.D. from Australian National University in 1970, after completing his B.Phil in economics at the University of Oxford. He also obtained his B.Ec with first-class honors in 1960 from the University of Western Australia.

Neil is an Australian citizen who currently resides in the U.S. He speaks both English and Dutch.
