Gail Clements, Lecturing Fellow

Gail Clements

Dr. Gaillynn Clements is a sociolinguist whose research originally focused on rural Southern United States’s speakers. Her work specifically explored gendered speech ways through social network analysis. She has also worked on pedagogy in linguistics, specifically, linguistic integration and preparedness for graduate students in TESOL and Masters Education programs. Her most recent work involves research in linguistic discrimination in academia and ADA compliance in linguistics courses.
