    Abstract:
The prospects of detecting the formation of a quark-gluon plasma in nuclear collisions at very high energy are reviewed. Predictions that the strange versus nonstrange antibaryon ratio is a good signal in the baryon-"rich" region are confirmed. The usefulness of this ratio in the baryon-free region depends on the length of the coexistence time of quark-gluon plasma and hadronic matter. © 1987.
