Research Description: I have previously done research as part of two High Energy Physics groups.

The first is the High Energy Astrophysics group at Case Western Reserve University under Dr. Corbin Covault  from January 2003 through May 2005. As part of the Pierre Auger Project, I participated in testing and calibrating nanosecond level timing devices. I also designed an atmostpheric Cherenkov detector and performed high energy air shower computer simulations using CORSIKA to estimate the feasibility of the design.

The summer of 2005, I worked with the Neutrino Group here at Duke University on the T2K experiment. My tasks included becoming proficient with C++, working on some Geant4 simulation code, and working with the analysis package ROOT.

I am currently working with Professor Ashutosh Kotwal here in the department. Our group is a member of the CDF collaboration at Fermilab and involved in ATLAS at the LHC.
