Course Description | Second semester of a two-semester course series intended for potential physics or biophysics majors. Course discusses basic principles and applications of electrodynamics, including: electric fields, Gauss's Law, electric potential, capacitance, DC and AC circuits, magnetic fields, Ampere's Law, electric and magnetic forces, magnetic induction, Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic waves, properties of light, ray optics, and wave optics.
