Research Interests: Middle East and Terrorism

Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of Undergraduate Studies, specializes in international politics and American foreign policy. Professor Eldridge also teaches in the area of political violence, dealing with questions of the preconditions of violent domestic and foreign conflict behavior, particularly terrorism. His publications include articles and research notes dealing with the value systems of foreign policy decision-makers. He is editor and co-author of Legislatures in Plural Societies: A Search for Cohesion and Development, and author of Images of Conflict. He is currently studying how information technologies can be effectively integrated into teaching and learning Political Science..
