Research Scientist
Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in 2001 from the Marriage, Family, and Human development Program of Brigham Young University, with a focus on research methodology and statistical modeling.
Through extensive training within and without the program and experience with many research projects, he has accumulated expertise in applying structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, and mixture modeling and has coauthored many publications.
His substantive research interests lie in parenting and child behavioral problems,while his methodological research interests focus on measurement issues. He is very familiar with statistical modeling program Mplus. He joined SSRI as research scientist in the late summer of 2005.
