Shuvan Shrestha is an M.A. student in the Religious Studies department at Duke University. He holds a B.A. in Religion from the University of Vermont.
His past research includes Newar religiosity, Theravada Buddhism, Hindu ashram communities, Confucius Institutes, Christian, Islamic, and traditions labeled as "Shamanic" in Nepal (his home), broader South Asia, and the world.
