A former Fulbright Scholar to French Polynesia (Tahiti), Laura Florand has focused on the experience of other cultures. Her essays on French Polynesia, France, and Spain, as well as the broader issues involved in travel and living abroad, have appeared in multiple publications. Her book, BLAME IT ON PARIS, is a comic memoir of the Franco-American experience.
