Barbara Halla,

Barbara Halla

Barbara is a Ph.D. student in Romance Studies at Duke University. Her current research focuses on feminist thought, women's writing, and the history and philosophy behind feminist anti-rape activism. Barbara is interested in how sexual violence has featured in the activism, writing, and thinking of French and Italian feminists since the 1960s and into the present. She also works on translation theory, world literature, and the relationship between theory, literature, and activism.

Barbara holds a Bachelor's in History from Harvard.
