Current projects: Dissertation title: "Wanderers in Contradiction. The Italian Road to Modernism (1903-1918)"

I am researching Italian Pre-Modernism. My thesis focuses on the cultural production of nine Italian intellectuals (Pirandello, Papini, Prezzolini, Soffici, Palazzeschi, Boine, Jahier, Slataper, Michelstaedter) in order to delineate how Italian culture participated in the Modernist scenario.
