    In the spring of 2011, Manbites Dog (in conjunction with the Duke Theater Studies department) presented a world premiere of my play NOW YOU SEE ME, directed by Jody McAuliffe. In the summer of 2011, a revival of my play SPATTER PATTERN was mounted in New York, by the Potomac Theater Project, under the direction of James Petosa (director of the Boston University School of Theater.) In December of 2011, I was notified by Charlie Stratton (former artistic director of a theater in Los Angeles) that financing had been completed for a film version of my play THERESE RAQUIN (an adaptation of the Emile Zola novel.) The movie is slated to be shot in early 2012, starring Glenn Close and Elizabeth Olsen.

    A production of my play 'shadow of himself', produced by Rabbithole Ensemble in Manhattan - the play is loosely based on the epic of Gilgamesh, and was originally written in collaboration with the New York Theater group The Civilians, who conducted interviews (which were incorporated into the text) involving contemporary attitudes/feelings/reflections about masculinity. I received a grant from the New York State Arts Council to work with the Civilians on this project. reviews are available at www.rabbitholeensemble.com
