Doug Martelon (M.F.A., University of Washington at Seattle) earned his B.A. in theater arts from Colorado State University and attended the University of Washington at Seattle, where he earned his M.F.A. in Technical Direction and Lighting Design for the Theater. For the past fifteen years Doug has been at Duke University, first as the Operations Supervisor for the Bryan Center Theaters, then as Manager of Stage Operations, and now as Manager of Theater Operations and Production Manager for the Theater Studies Department. While working at Duke, Doug has also served as a consultant for the Durham Public Schools, a freelance production manager, and the Current Events Lighting Coordinator for the sponsor villages at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
