I am trained in the field of contemporary theology and theological ethics, and enjoy teaching first-year, writing intensive courses around ethical-religious themes ("sin in theology and culture," "religious pluralism," "religious responses to war."). I am currently working on a series of articles on Kierkegaard, virtue ethics, and human fallibility, while rewriting my dissertation ("Felix Peccabilitas: Fallibility and Christian Heroism in the Hamartiology of S?Kierkegaard") for book publication. My other research interests include Jewish-Christian dialogue, pacificist and just-war traditions, Lutheranism, and Continental philosophy.
