MSG Pabo entered active Army service on 19 March 1996 as a Field Artillery Fire Direction Specialist. He has served in every Fire Direction position from Specialist to First Sergeant and has been stationed at Army posts in Europe, Asia and the US. His most recent assignment was as First Sergeant for Bravo Battery, 3-319th Field Artillery Regiment at Fort Bragg, NC. His operational experience includes peace keeping operations in Kosovo and combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Master Sergeant Pabo’s military developmental education includes the Warriors Leaders Course, Advanced Leadership Course, Senior Leadership Course, and Pre-Command Course. He is a graduate of the Jumpmaster Course, Advance Field Artillery Tactical Data System Course, Battle Staff Course, Master Resiliency Course, Combat Lifesaver Course and is certified in Army Combatives Level I & II. His awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Award), the Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), the Army Achievement Medal (9th Award), the Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the NATO Medal (Kosovo), the Combat Action Badge, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Navy Unit Citation, the Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Army Physical Fitness Badge. MSG Pabo is also a recipient of the Order of Saint Barbara and a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

His civilian education consists of a B.A. in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University (2007), and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville (2016).
