Duties:

Visiting Assistant Professor and Managing Editor of the Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences. Teaching Civil War History, 111 I am also planning an event, with my colleague Margaret Humphreys, to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the American Civil War. The event will take place at Duke University, March 16, 2012 and will feature speakers of prominence working on the American Civil War.

In my free time I enjoy playing golf and sailing.
