Editing a historical demography of Modern SEAsia, Writing an economic history of the Philippines, Analyzing the evolution of Filipino gender roles
The textbook on Modern Southeast Asian history I edited & co-authored was published this year by the University of Hawai'i Press. My next project will again be editing, probably in the field of historical demography of Southeast Asia. I have on various back burners a number of projects on Philippine history, including economic history and the intersection of gender and nationalism.
