Please note: Tricia has left the "History" group at Duke University; some info here might not be up to date.

I work on early modern European intellectual and cultural history with special focus on religion and science. Currently, my research centers on discussions of the relationship of body and soul by physicians, anatomists, and religious figures and the ways in which it manifested itself in both devotional and medical practices. I am also interested in worldwide early modern cultural, intellectual and religious exchanges through missions and travel.
