Description: Complex fluid dynamics is frequently exhibited by renal tubular flows, e.g., fluid flow around the proximal tubule brush border, and intermittent flow along a collecting duct under peristaltic contractions. The overall goal of this project is to use analysis and computational mathematics to gain a better understanding of the effects of complex fluid dynamics on renal transport of water and solutes..
