Research Interests: mathematical biology, numerical analysis, numerical solution of PDE's, high performance computing, data vizualization

My primary research focus is on mathematical modeling of nonlinear waves in excitable media. I study arrhythmias and defibrillation (arhhythmia termination by a strong electrical shock) by modeling electrical activity in cardiac muscle.
