Maddie Hanson-Colvin, Graduate Student

Maddie Hanson-Colvin

I study low dimensional topology and particularly knots in three-manifolds. I am particularly interested in the topological properties of generalized algebraic knots: knots which are defined as the links of singularities of normal complex algebraic surfaces with complex curves inside them. I approach them from the angle of knot Floer homology using knot Lattice homology as a tool.
