My research focuses on - psychosocial development in middle adulthood and old age - social cognition (age stereotypes, ageism, self-perceptions of aging) - self-regulation & coping in the context of aging and critical life events - well-being in the context of successful aging - group processes in the context of intergenerational interactions - social relationships & social support - psychosocial predictors of mortality
