   Abstract:
   A comfortable and convenient electrode configuration using disposable ECG electrodes for recording the impedance cardiogram was compared to the traditional band electrodes. Measurement of systolic time intervals at rest and during exercise was unaffected by the electrode configuration used. Resting cardiac output values differed significantly according to electrode type, and subtle differences in cardiac output responses to exercise were also observed.
