Research Summary: My research program is focused on survivorship and quality of life issues in pediatric cancer patients. Current projects include: 1) an NIH funded project aimed at understanding the relationship between facial decoding skills and social functining in cancer survivors; 2) evaluaton of cognitive re-training in cancer survivors 3) understanding the impact on caregivers of pediatric cancer patients and 4) evaluation of quality of life parameters in patients with sickle cell disease.
