I am studying the search for exoplanets (extra-solar planets). Using Bayesian Adaptive Design, I hope to help devise a means for determining, based on past data, when future stellar observations are most likely to produce useful information.
- Years:
I continue to be involved in statistics education at the high school level after teaching at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics for four years.
I was a Peace Corps volunteer from 1992-94 in Benin, West Africa, teaching high school mathematics.
