Within the context of expression proteomics, my primary research investigates non-parametric methods for analyzing data generated by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers. Given individual and multiple spectra, my methods address data processing, feature extraction, and treatment group classification. I am also interested in education research. I assisted in studying the retention of Statistics 101 material taught at Duke and the influence of Type I error pertaining to the No Child left Behind Act.
