Brief Bio

Marcia Lorimer received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the City College of New York and her MSN in mental health/psychiatric nursing from the University of Virginia. Trained as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, she is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a member of ANA, NCNA, NAPNAP, Sigma Theta Tau, and the Association of Faculties of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Associate Programs. She was awarded “Nurse of the Year” by the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation in 1996.

Marcia Lorimer practices (one to two days monthly)in the School of Nursing/Community and Family Medicine Faculty Practice School-Based Health Centers.
