    Abstract:
In this study, the effects of the monofilament draw ratio, and stent and monofilament diameter on the deformation and collapse pressure of IBS. Intravascular Bioadsorbable Stents were investigated. It is shown that the maximum pressure that stents with constant monofilament diameter can withstand before collapse increases with decreasing stent diameter. Also, at a given pressure below the collapse pressure, the fractional decrement in the stent diameter is less with decreasing initial diameter.
